Terms of service

What you agree to when you buy through ShopBudMall, and what we commit to in return.

Who these terms are for

ShopBudMall sells to businesses. By opening an account you confirm you are buying for a business rather than as a consumer, and that you are authorised to act for that business.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including actions by people you invite onto your business. Give each person their own login rather than sharing one — every action is recorded against the account that took it.

Some transaction limits require verification. Until your business is verified, those limits apply.

Prices

Prices are shown in Naira and include our fees where stated. Bulk prices depend on quantity and the tier is shown before you order. Prices can change, but the price you see when you check out is the price you pay — if anything moves while you are shopping we tell you and ask you to confirm before taking payment.

Quotations

A quotation is an offer at a fixed price for the period stated on it. Within that period the price, the quantities and the delivery charge on the quotation are what you pay, even if our catalogue prices move. Once it expires it is no longer an offer and we may re-quote.

Orders

An order is formed when your payment settles, not when you add something to a basket. Stock is held for you while you are checking out; if the hold lapses the goods return to general availability.

We may decline or cancel an order where stock is genuinely unavailable, where a price was clearly wrong, or where we are required to. If we cancel after taking payment, we refund in full.

Payment

Payment is taken through our payment provider. Where you pay by transfer, the account details we give you are valid for a limited window; after it lapses you will need a fresh instruction. Do not send money to an account you were not shown inside your order.

Delivery

Delivery charges and estimated dates are quoted before you pay. Dates are estimates rather than guarantees, and are measured in working days. Where you arrange your own collection, the goods become your responsibility when your carrier takes them.

If something is wrong

Tell us within seven days of delivery if goods arrive damaged, incomplete, or not as described. Raise it against the order so the evidence stays with it.

We hold funds until you confirm delivery. Where a claim is upheld we will refund, replace or redeliver depending on what is practical, and we will tell you which and why. Where it is not upheld we will tell you what we looked at.

Verified manufacturers

A verified badge means we have seen and approved that factory’s registration and licences, and that two different people were involved in approving them. It is a statement about paperwork we have checked, not a warranty of every item produced. If a factory’s papers lapse the badge is removed.

What we are not responsible for

We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for business you lost, or for goods used outside their intended purpose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the value of the order concerned.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction.

Changes

We update these terms from time to time and change the date at the top. Orders are governed by the terms in force when they were placed.
